End of an Era

On June 19, 2021 Price’s Chicken Coop had their last day of business and closed down permanently after 59 years. The news was unexpected and sad for people all over the country. Their name was popular, and their chicken was known everywhere. During the Coop’s last two days, people from all over came out, waited, and supported their local business. On the morning of June 19, the line started at about 4 am and continued to grow. Customers came out knowing they may not be able to get anything, but did so in honor to remember Price’s Chicken. Price’s Chicken will be forever missed, but never forgotten.

“ I know I am not going to get anything, but I love Price’s Chicken and I am going to be here and support them until its time and they officially close forever…”

“ This is only my second time having Price’s Chicken, and usually I don’t eat fried chicken, but this place is amazing! My husband I have been out here waiting since the early morning… I am just glad I get to have it one last time.”
